Aaron Lennon is not keen to make a call on his future in a hurry

Aaron Lennon is not keen to make a call on his future in a hurry. He would be waiting till the time the pre season transfer window is open.

The 28-year old is unwanted at Tottenham and he has already been made aware of that by the club management.

If he stays in the ranks of the Spurs, it’s more than likely that he will have to sit out for the entire duration of the next season.

It’s believed a couple of clubs including Everton had approached Tottenham enquiring for Lennon, but, the talks couldn’t go ahead because of the heavy transfer fee that was demanded.

As the reports suggest, the Spurs want nothing less than 8 million Pounds for Lennon.

Lennon would love to go to Everton as he had been able to find his lost touch there in the latter parts of the previous season and had had decent success finding the net a couple of times in 14 matches.

But, at the moment, he is not forcing the issue. He knows if he waits a little bit, Tottenham will have no option, but, to drop the transfer fee that they are demanding, otherwise, they will put themselves in danger of not getting even a penny for him as his contract is going to expire next summer. Aaron Lennon joined Everton earlier in February of 2015

Aaron Lennon joined Everton earlier in February of 2015 as the English player completed his move from White Hart Lane to Goodison Park in a transfer which lasts until the end of the current season.

The footballer who was named as the ‘’Young Player of the Year’’ for Leeds United during the season of 2004-05, Aaron Lennon is going through an impressive form with Everton as he has helped the Premier League club in their quest of avoiding the bottom relegation zone and the side of Roberto Martinez are safely away from being relegated as they are located in the middle section of the English League.

Roberto Martinez is head coach of Everton and the manager has already stated that he is impressed by what Aaron Lennon has been doing in the club and a permanent deal could be agreed if Lennon continues on performing at this high level.

When Everton was facing off with Swansea City on April 11, Aaron Lennon rescued one point for his interim team as he scored the only goal of his club in a match that ended with a 1-1 draw. Lennon also found the back of the net during Everton’s match QPR which was played a few weeks ago in March. Continue reading “Aaron Lennon joined Everton earlier in February of 2015”

Move made by Aaron Lennon wasnt Supported

Former Tottenham midfielder Aaron Lennon sealed a move to Everton on transfer deadline day, but it appeared that the England international was not too happy with the move. In his first pictures as an Everton player, he appeared glum and dull.

This led to a lot of comments as to whether the 27-year-old was not too happy at moving from London to Liverpool. Everton manager Roberto Martinez insisted that this was not the case and that the photographer was to blame for this controversy. He says that it is the job of a photographer to make the subject smile. Having failed to do so, he says that it is time Everton changed their photographer.

Lennon was a Tottenham player since his £ 1 million move in 2005. He has been part of numerous success enjoyed by the club in the last decade, but he has been pushed to a fringe role under the management of Mauricio Pochettino. After having been a regular first-team player as recently as under Tim Sherwood, Lennon was not too happy with his lack of first-team opportunities.
