Burnley forward Aaron Lennon said that there are many players that suffer from depression and that has approached him in order to get help. He said that there are many people in the game that are battling depression and that it is important that they seek help.
Aaron Lennon who has appeared and played for Everton has expressed his pleasure and happiness over the recovery of Robbie Brady who suffered a severe injury on the knee and has recently made only his 2nd appearance in this year for the team of Burnley on the night of Monday. With the comeback of Brady, the speculations for the comeback of Berg Gudmundsson has also increased and his comeback is expected to strengthen and improve the performance of the game that is to be played at the Palace of Crystal and the chances of Clarets’ wide are finally looking a lot better. And their team will fancy their chances of winning. The addition of Dwight McNeil (a teenager) into the mix and there will be competition for the spots on the flanks.
Lennon said he is hopeful that the comeback international player Brady of Republic of Ireland and the urgency of McNeil will compel him to do a much better job. Adding to this, he said that “the increased competition will help them in creating a better and healthy squad. Robbie Brady is a magnificent player and it’s a great opportunity to have him back in the squad.” He also said that more tough competition will increase the level of the game because then everyone will try to achieve the best spot which will ultimately help the team.”

England international Aaron Lennon has admitted that he has started enjoying the beautiful game after making the move to Burnley during the previous transfer window. The 31-year-old had struggled to gain regular gametime during the backend of his Everton career and there was a period where Lennon was hospitalised with depression concerns.
Burnley attacker Aaron Lennon has hailed Clarets boss Sean Dyche as one of the best he has worked with. The England international has played under the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Roberto Martinez during the course of his club career and believes Dyche deserves recognition in the same bracket.
Experienced winger Aaron Lennon has stressed that he had to part ways with Everton in January in order to enhance his chances of earning sufficient playing time. The 30-year-old had found himself under additional competition after the arrival of Theo Walcott, and this encouraged him to pursue a fresh challenge with Burnley, for whom he signed on a three-year deal.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the England international admitted that he wanted to play more regularly, and this urged him to switch clubs midway through the season, he said: “I want to play, like everyone else, each week, and obviously it had to come to the time where you start to look it at and think ‘I’ve missed a lot of football in the last year-and-a-half maybe it’s time to move on’. And I made the right decision. I enjoyed my time at Everton. They are a great group of lads and have some good quality players. People will be probably look at them on paper and think they should be higher or have done better.”

Aaron Lennon says that the contribution of Jonjoe Kenny has been quite unbelievable so far this season. After coming through the ranks at Everton, Kenny became a professional in 2014. He has since then been on loan at Wigan and Oxford United. These have provided him with excellent experience. The 20-year-old is regarded as one of the future candidates for the England right back position. It is not surprising that he has represented every set up of the England youth teams over the last few years. He is currently playing for the under 21 setup, for which he has made three appearances since his debut in 2017.
Everton had to go through a lot of poor form earlier in the campaign. This would be tough situation for any young player coming through the ranks, as they would be subjected to a lot of pressure while there is also the possibility of losing their first-team spot when a new manager comes to the club. However, Jonjoe Kenny has been the first choice at Everton even with all these difficult periods. He has managed to make 13 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League, while there have been further appearances in the Europa League and the League Cup. So far this season, he has featured in 19 games with one assist to his name.

Everton forward Oumar Niasse has shed some light on how Aaron Lennon helped him through some very difficult times at the club.
The Senegalese striker joined the Blues from Lokomotiv Moscow for £13.5million in 2016. He really struggled in the beginning failing to score in any of his first seven games. He had joined the Merseysiders during the middle of the season and Niasse found the unerringly lace of the Premier League too much to handle.

Aaron Lennon is not running out of gas just yet. The English winger is still hungry and he wants to play more and more matches.
Lennon is not the oldest football player in the world right now. In fact, he is only 27, but, it seems he has been around forever and that’s because he had made his debut at a very small age.
Lennon was only 16-year old when he had featured for the first time in the English top division for his boyhood club Leeds United.
He has not looked back since then and recently, he completed his 400 games at the senior level which is certainly some achievement especially for a player who is only in his high twenties.
Lennon finds it hard to believe the fact that it’s been 11 years since his debut.
Talking to a website the previous evening, the Spurs player said, “Time’s just flown by. It’s unbelievable.”
When asked if he knows he has got his games’ count to four hundred, Lennon said, “No one counts the no. of matches that he plays, but, people do let you know when you reach some kind of landmark. I was told yesterday that it was my four hundredth game and I am really proud of it. To be able to feature so many times at such a high level, it’s really fantastic.”
“The first time that I had stepped on to the field to play for the Three Lions, it was memorable and then, thankfully, I had the privilege to play in World Cup. Also, I have to mention my first appearance in Leeds’ jersey. That was pretty special too.”
During his 9 years at White Hart Lane, Lennon has been a regular most of the times. This season though, he has played only 4 games so far.
