PSG EYE ARSENAL RIGHT BACK

France champions Paris Saint-Germain are said to be attempting to negotiate a deal with Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin. According to a report the Spaniard is attracting interest from the capital-based club. Although Some part of reports from England are claiming the Spaniard is keen on staying in north London under Mikel Arteta’s tutelage, where he is the vice-captain behind Pierre Emerick Aubameyang.

Bellerin started five of his side’s last six Premier League games after his return from a hamstring injury in January. He has enjoyed a consistent run in the first team since he returned from a long injury lay off. But there have been plenty of claims that the 25-year-old is potentially seeking a way out of north London for a more ambitious club.

According to Spanish news outlet Todo Fichajes, they believe PSG are in negotiations with Arsenal for the defender, as they go in search of finding a replacement for free agent Thomas Meunier. According to former Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon, he stated that he sees no reason why Arsenal will part ways with Bellerin. But he admitted that the club might need the cash to reinvest in the cub.

Bellerin’s potential sale would bring in a huge sum that Arsenal could use to reinvest in the club. But the player is understood to be fully invested in Arteta’s project at the club, understanding his vision for the club’s future.

Amid the uncertainty, Bellerin has continued to represent the club’s Professional Footballers’ Association delegate, while also working closely with the Gunners hierarchy to find a solution to the pay-cut saga, between the playing staff and the board.

Despite a frustrating 18 months for Bellerin, the Spaniard seems keen on evolving into Arteta’s long-term right-back option with the club.

Ainsley Maitland Niles has been featuring for the club since the injury to Bellerin. The 22-year-old has however fallen out of favour with Arteta. He has featured sparingly since the Spaniard took over.
